An Examination Of The Logic of Multiculturalism
In The Genesis of Political Correctness: The Basis of a False Morality (page 186), I wrote:
‘There is an economic concept known as ‘producer capture’. This applies where there is a monopoly. Instead of the monopoly responding to customers and producing goods that the customers want, the monopoly produces what it likes, and the consumers are trapped into buying whatever is produced. For example, in a car market, customers may want cars with sunroofs. In a competitive market with a choice of producers, those producers that make cars with sunroofs will sell more cars. However, with a monopoly, if the producer cannot be bothered to manufacture cars with sunroofs, since the customers can go nowhere else then cars without sunroofs will continue to be bought. The monopoly does as it likes.
The same concept applies with the capture of public institutions by the politically correct. For example, would parents normally pay people to teach their children to say, ‘Peace Be Upon Him’, after saying, ‘Mohammed’? Normally they would not – but they are. In December 2015, it was revealed that, at a Christian state school in Worcester, children have been taught to do this in the Religious Education lessons. This, in a predominantly white school, did not arise because parents wanted to pay for teachers to teach this but because the politically correct school decided to do so. The same ethos applies across a range of public institutions. Not only do they do as they like, but go so far as to sincerely believe that they are morally superior in their political correctness. Ordinary people should be grateful for paying up. The politically correct are entitled to be well paid with public monies for showing ordinary plebs how racist etc. those plebs are. The capture of public institutions enables the politically correct to get money via the tax system. Ordinary people have to pay up.’
This problem is common across the Anglosphere, as has been recently evidenced in Texas – as well as elsewhere across the USA. Schools and Libraries have been targeting children for activities such as Drag Queen Story Hour. The overwhelming majority of parents would not voluntarily pay for this, but are in fact compelled to do so via the tax system. Those parents are also openly held in contempt by the politically correct, who are happily pocketing those taxes.
Some of the drag queens have convictions for child abuse. Even so, those promoting the events are defiant. Some have even boasted that: ‘We are grooming the new generation… to be fully embracing of diversity and inclusivity.’ Of the objections, one person even went so far as to assert:
‘I believe that raising a child is the responsibility of the community, and that parents should not have the final say. Let’s be honest, some of you don’t know what is best for your kids. I have learned a ton about what is best for Ethan from his teachers, not the other way around.
Parents believe they should be able to storm the school in the name of political and religious beliefs if something happens in the school that they are morally opposed to. They forget that we make a promise to prepare their children to live in a diverse world. We are not required to protect the misguided, bigoted views of their parents.’
There is currently a general election underway in the UK, and yet nothing is being said about this abuse of our children. In the USA it is occurring in Republican states and under a Republican president.
This producer capture needs terminating.
