An Examination Of The Logic of Multiculturalism
Despite the May Government’s cancellation of Brexit, there remains dishonest talk of how May’s deal will deliver Brexit, and how the so-called Spartans in the Brexit camp are blocking Brexit by not agreeing to that deal. We are aggressively told that the failure to achieve Brexit is the fault of the Spartans and has nothing to do with May, who, we are given to understand, is in no way responsible for what she has done.
The fact is that May’s deal is a surrender and offers only continued rule by the EU. There is no prospect of Brexit should that deal ever be ratified.
It has been the case of the globalists and EU fanatics over many decades that the UK needs to pool sovereignty. That by giving up our independence we could become a small part of something bigger in which we would have an influence.
By comparison, it was the Brexit case during the referendum that the UK needed to ‘take back control’. That we needed to recover our national sovereignty so that we can govern ourselves.
The May withdrawal deal cancels all sovereignty. We would have no say in what the EU does and yet would remain subject to its instructions and committed to further payments. We would become a vassal state literally under EU dictatorship, with the future prospect of being bounced into the Irish backstop whether we agree to that or not. By no stretch of the imagination is May’s deal Brexit and no true Brexiteer would vote for it.
